I'm having trouble getting Linux (any version) to recognize either of the NICs on the GA-Q87M-MK.
The e1000e driver supposedly supports the I217-LM, and it does recognize and try to bringup the interface, but seems to fail probing the PHY:

A maintainer of the e1000e driver hinted that this may be a problem with the BIOS, but I'm running the latest F3 version.
Any tips on pursuing this further, or is this simply an unsupported configuration.
(By the way, I've tried this on many different kernels and e1000e driver versions - the one listed above, 3.0.4-NAPI is the latest e1000e driver)
Thanks,
Chris
