Hey, so yeah basically I have the GA-MA790XT-UD4P board and had it running on the F7 BIOS for no idea how long.. but I want to ugprade the CPU and for that I need to update the BIOS to a never version. Now the problems comes as both the F8 and the F9b BIOSes fail to produce a succesful flash via the @BIOS or Q-FLASH and the sistem goes into a never-ending reboot loop. Thankfully the dual bios feature works so I can reset it back to stock F4 BIOS and update to F7 without a problem (F7 for the core on/off function)
Also, The AMD RAID controller recognizes my 2x samsung spinpoints as sata 3g(sata2) capable, but my cruical m500 ssd as only sata 1.. this is extremely weird to me! (the F9b BIOS has the controller bios update as well)
I noticed the "FLASHSPI" for F4 and F7 bios are different file sizes than for F8 and F9b if that's got anything to do with it but I got no clue about that.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
