Ok wth just happened to my computer?

I have had this computer for about 3 years I thin k, built it myself with no problems. Today it got slow because I havent cleared anything in a week or two, shut it down and ran an errand. Now it won't turn back on, click the button and it might as well have no power. What I have tried:

CLeaning it out real good
different power cable
different outlet
removing the internal battery for a cmos reset (what someone mentioned to do on another forum)
unplugged the power switch and bridged it with a screwdriver
took it to best buy and they hooked up a brand new psu and still nothing, he said everything looks perfect but  the only thing he can think of is it has to be the motherboard.

And if it was a power surge it would have to be one hell of one, my surge protector is 4200 joules and everything else seems fine.

Intel i5-2500k OCed to 4.1 or 4.3
Gigabyte z68-ud3h-b3
HIS radeon 6850
Ultra X3 1000w
G.Skill Ripjaws 8g DDR3 1600

removing the internal battery for a cmos reset (what someone mentioned to do on another forum)

Do it again and this time pull the battery and put a jumper on the cmos pins and let it sit over night. Pull the jumper and put the battery back in and give it a try, If it still doesn't work than yes the board went bad. Sometimes the boards will lock up.

Would the pins to place the jumper on for my model motherboard be immediately above the rest of the pins? I know there is just 2 pins above the rest (outside the rectangle walls) but it doesn't say what its for and I can't find the manual right now
