Hello.
 I have or think I have a problem with my PC. I have a GA-H87M-D3H, i5 4670, 2x4Gb RAM(1600), R9 280X, SATA1 500gb hard disk and 240gb mushkin SSD 7mm.

The OS is installed on the SSD, the other one I use disk storage. The APP EZ setup says it can not detect SSD and Speccy says speed (Devices SSD) unused.

I have nothing to update, what do these programs to detect my drive properly? or should I just settle.

Gracias!.

have you went to disk management and initialized the disk and formatted it. The ssd I have to do that to each one I install I always use a computer with windows 7 on it and it works each time.

I have to agree with autotech.  I use only basic programs to do stuff on my computer. I tell people all the time don't use all that crap that is out there.

Programs like that can drive you crazy at times.  What happens is a lot of times. You end up having more problems than you really want.

So like autotech said just use disk management to setup your drive.

That app requires you to have at least 6MB. 10 is better for that app to run on first startup.
Now what you must do is create a 10MB partition and put that app in it and it will work. I did it on my Z97 and it did see my PNY SSD and afgter creating the partition it asked for it has run fine. Now i actually quit using it jusr today as i dont lkike running different apps before startup.

There is another app on my motherboard disk that calls for 10 gig partition but dont even want to go there with my SSD.
