test motherboard? GA-X58A-UD3R

how can i rule out the board? is it worth it to send in to gigabyte? it's got to be out of warranty now.

the troubles started when my browser became "unresponsive" and whited out. soon my audio software was too. then i noticed a usb peripheral wasn't being recognized, then hard drive activity was way to high at idle.

i have swapped out a few things. new hard drive. fresh os install. new power supply.

now i'm looking at the board. but how do you test it? the utility on the gigabyte site does not seem to work for my model of board. i thought, maybe a corrupt bios?

this hardware setup had been fine for months. and now with a fresh OS and drive this would seem to rule out software.

any ideas? thanks.
