With HDMI2.0 strangely off the radar with video card manufacturers, I am interested in getting the GV-N750OC-2gi as an interim card for a 4K TV.
It states that to get 4K at 60Hz, the two HDMI 1.4 ports have to be used. However, it does not explicitly state anywhere that each of its single HDMI ports CAN handle 4K at 30Hz.
Not wanting to make any assumptions before forking out money, does anyone know if these cards DO (not should, but DO) handle 4K at 30Hz independently out of each of its HDMI ports?
With many forums loaded with gamers interested in 4K (even after they find out how much graphics power is required), and TV manufacturers basically ignoring DisplayPort in favour of HDMI2.0, I wonder why video card manufacturers haven't jumped to the support of a demographic that has traditionally been a driver for graphics card development.
It is not like they have not had enough time since the HDMI2.0 spec came out. Panasonic had a HDMI2.0 TV (also had DisplayPort) out almost immediately after the official spec was announced last year.
