I have a GA-MA785GM-US2H i and I put two 2TB HDDs together as RAID 1 as storage (not OS). When I select Storage and disk management under Windows 7 Adminstrator tools and right click on the disk I'd like to format, it shows simple, striped, mirrored and RAID 5 instead of regular single HD options such as format. If I selected striped, it asks me to add another disk. I thought I have added two HDDs together already. Why it asks me again?
If I added two additional 2TBs and made them RAID 1, select either Striped or Mirrored and combined two RAID 1 together, what does that give me? RAID 5?
