g3258 cant overclock using z87x-d3h.

i can set the multiplier in the bios to above 32 i.e. 44 but when i run cpuz, it shows only 3.2ghz as well as aida 64 stress test and overclock detection. i tried f9 bios and the beta bios f9c but the f9c freezes up most of the time. any suggestions? thank you

if you change it to 34 does it stay there. Try one level at a time. It could be 44 is to high and so motherboard defaults back to 32.
