GA-X99-Gaming 5 BIOS issues with both F5 / F6C versions
bishi:
- BIOS intermittently fails to get past POST or enter BIOS if Saitek X-55 Rhino joystick and throttle are plugged in
- Mad Catz STRIKE 7 keyboard caps lights don't work properly in either USB 3 or 2 ports (if you press caps it will change case but light on keyboard will only change if you hold the button down). Worked fine on previous motherboard, but this keyboard is a POS so I don't blame Gigabyte necessarily :D (power related?)
- Mouse (Logitech G700s) is hard to use in the BIOS because if you move it slowly it stops, pretty much limits me to keyboard only.
computermensch:
I can confirm GA-X99-UD4 occasionally (read: urealibility on boot) seems to have the same problems - just with the input controllers HOTAS Warthog from Thrustmaster.
digital nomad:
I have a X99 Gaming G1 WiFi with BIOS vF8c.
I plugged in my CH Products Pro Pedals, Throttle Quadrant, and Flight Yoke. They are recognized and work fine.
Just like you guys, as soon as you reboot it hangs up at the Gigabyte logo or hangs up at the Windows 7 Ultimate 64 loading screen.
I did not have this problem with a X79 G1.Assassin 2.
Aren't these motherboards advertised as GAMING motherboards yet you can't use your GAMING input devices?
Come on Gigabyte, FIX THIS PLEASE!

Using X99 Gaming G1 WIFI BIOS F8d
I have the same problem when I plugged Playstation 4 gamepad, it will hang most of the time during reboot, i think the motherboard code says AE
I contacted the gigabyte support and they said to unplug it before boot.
I hope it's going to get fixed.
