Sometimes when playing back video files with windows media player or VLC the sound disappears during playback. The same thing happens when editing videos using Sony Vegas Pro or any other audio visual software. I have tried changing the video card, but no difference. I have installed the latest drivers. Running windows 7 Ultimate. My video card is a Gigabyte Radeon R 9290. The processor i7 8 core extreme. I also had a blue screen once and sometimes the machine hangs on startup screen. This machine is used mainly for video editing, but I can not work like this. Any ideas?
