Sorry, I know this has been asked a million times. From what I have read, TMPIN1 is CPU and TMPIN2 is socket. I had thought that TMPIN2 was CPU because it exactly matches the temp under my CPU, FX-8350 /temp/packages.
Is the FX-8350/packages reporting socket temp, or is it wrong and just coincidentally matching TMPIN2?
It would be great if TMPIN1 is actually CPU temp, because it is usually 5-10 degrees less than TMPIN2, and that means I have more room to OC, but usually IBT results throttle when TMPIN2 & 8350/packages get to 60+ for very long, even though TMPIN1 is still at 55 or less.
Any thoughts?
