GA-MA78GM-US2H No DVI, VGA or HDMI with Win 7 64

Hi all. I am new around here.

I have done my search on the forum without any success. There was a previous post in 2010 but it remained unresolved. http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,2423.msg13625.html#msg13625

I have downloaded and installed all of the drivers from the site. I have upgraded the BIOS and cleared the CMOS.

Basically I have taken this computer out of retirement. I have replaced Vista with Win 7 Pro 64 and downloaded and installed the drivers from the web site.

I want two screens. The second is an HDMI TV.  Initally - during the Windows setup I got DMI connection OK.  But no HDMI to my screen.  So I put in an extra video card that I found. No name but made in China ( :-) ).  I am getting my DVI signal from that now. I switched the Advanced  BIOS setting for "Onboard VGA output connect" to "D-SUB/HDMI" as the book tells me to.

But nothing. Nothing at all from any of the mother board video connectors.

It feels like a driver issue ? But in the downloads from the Gigabyte site I saw nothing about video except the VGA ones.

I know it's an ancient board. But has anybody got any ideas please?

IIRC one can have D-Sub + HDMI or D-Sub + DVI but not HDMI + DVI.
Search. Discovery is curiosity's reward.
