I realy hope somebody can help me with my problem.
I bought a GV-R92290OC-4GD REV:1.0 , beast of an card but im disapointed
My problem is i "CANT" install anny newer driver that from the windows official update.
Steps i dit , i remove old driver reboot, run DDU , reboot Then install the new full package and after loading the driver
i lose my conenction to my monitor, only solution to reverse that is to boot in safemode and remove the driver.
Tested with
amd-catalyst-14-9-win7-win8.1-64bit-dd-ccc-whql.exe
amd-catalyst-14.9.2beta-14.301.1006-64bit-win8.1-oct10
And some other betas from guru3d
This is what i dit
I reinstalled windows 8.1 with an md5 checksum on the iso so its original , i updated all latest drivers after that i wanted to update to 14.9 and it failed I used manny driver uninstallers and the most popular one is DDU I installed the chipset drivers etc all latest
Updated the bios on the card olso.
On the winupdate drivers its runs well but newer games need newer drivers simple.
My card is a GV-R92290OC-4GD REV:1.0
Win 8.1 pro
P7P55-M
I5 760 @3.20
6GB DDR3 Corsair 1600
Its a 400 euro card and there are alot new games out, plz help
