Format a USB drive in fat and download using a different computer and unzip to the USB you formatted. Now when you put your build together use the 4790 and 1 stick of ram and no hard drive keyboard and mouse only besides USB with bios update on it.
Power on computer and go to bios by hitting the delete key. Once in bios use the bios flashing tool in bios it will tell you on bottom of screen what key to hit. Then point it at the USB and update bios. At this point do not power off or turn computer off till the flash is all the way done.
Now when you restart go back into bios and load failsafe defaults and then hit f10. when it is exited power off computer hook up hard drive and load your operating system. I have used this method on my 4790K and it worked just fine.
Any more question feel free to post back.
