hi everyone, I have this new combo and taskmanager shows cpu at 3.85 and hwinfo64 shows all cores at 3900. also cpuz shows 3900. all this is just sitting at the desktop. in the bios it says 3.5. it had the F5 bios. I updated to bios F7 and its the same thing, I even loaded defaults and cleared the cmos. its like its stuck at 3.85 - 3900. this is new build with stock bios settings. any ideas? could it be bad board ?..thank you......EDIT.... I had set power management to high performance. I just now set it to balanced. now my idle speed is back to normal
