When I turn on my computer from being off or restart it, the Gigabyte splash screen that gives options like holding down delete for bios and keys for the boot menu no longer appears. Instead I am right into Windows welcome screen and then my desktop. What I have tried so far:
Going into Change PC settings > update and recovery > recovery > advanced startup > then selecting to boot into UEFI Firmware settings
I have disabled fast boot from Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Power Options > System Settings > Change settings that are unavailable.
I have uninstalled fast boot which was a driver I downloaded from the Gigabyte website.
This seems to happen randomly and they only way I have found to resolve it is to painstakingly take my HTPC case apart, remove the GTX 970, and then remove the CMOS battery for 60 seconds. There is no reset CMOS button on this board although connecting the two jumper pins with a screw driver for 10 seconds is supposed to reset BIOS but it does not. If relevant I updated my BIOS less than a week ago from Gigabyte's support website, PC only built a day or so beforehand.
Please advise how I can access the BIOS without having to manually remove the CMOS battery, and also if you know how to easier reset the BIOS, I am planning to overclock which may require a lot of resetting of the BIOS.
