On waking from sleep the CPU multiplier returns to stock.
I've set multiplier at 44 in the BIOS. Vcore is 1.15v.
Boot up and check frequencies, temps etc using gigabyte SIV. Looks good.
Run Prime 95. Temps jump 20-40 deg, fans rev up. Check frequencies using task manager. See a jump from +- 3.5GHz to +- 4.3GHz
So far so good.
Put the system into sleep mode (via windows shut down menu)
Wake the system.
Check frequencies, temps etc using gigabyte SIV. Vcore still 1.15v but CPU mulitplier returned to 35 (stock). CPU frequency now reported as stock (3.5GHz)
Run Prime 95. Temps jump only 20 deg or so, fan speed hardly increases. Check frequencies using task managerand get nothing above stock.
Maybe it's just reporting wrong but lack of CPU temp rise suggests CPU frequency multiplier isreturning to stock after wake from sleep.
Any suggestions as how to fix this?
Thanks for your help.
