will the Radeon R9 280X work on a Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3 ?

thinking about upgrading my crossfired 6950's to single R9 280X or maybe a 290 if price is right. anybody have this board and using one of these video cards? thanx to all that reply.

I had a MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) That I had a R7-250 running on it. Plus with a sandy bridge CPU too. So it should work. Just make sure your bios is up to date.
