Hi There i have a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SOC recently moved my PC to a different room and now the optical port isnt working. No light coming from it and no sound from the headset. It is set to the default device in windows and realtek audio manager.
Could this be a dead optical port? It is worth mentioning that i also plugged a TV in via HDMI but i have since unplugged this disabled HDMI out for sound and removed nvidias HD audio driver. Still no help
Also updated the motherboards audio drivers still no help.
Any help greatly appreciated.
