I have Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. GA-M56S-S3 (Socket M2). I bought AMD R7 240 2GB PCIe 3.0 to use on another PC. However the card simply doesn't work there. It seems the PCIe is too old form what i read over the web. anyway i was thinkign to move the current GPU i have on Gigabyte motherbaord there and sue the AMD R7 240 on this Gigabyte GA-M56S-S3 (Socket M2) motherboard. will this card work? i find conflicting information. and mostly it relates to older cards.
for starters i can not find the informaiton if this baord has PCIe2.0 or 1.1. i haven't done any BIOS upgrades or anything on it. you know, if it ain't broken ...
