I have the F5 BIOS for the GA-H81M-DS2V, Rev. 1.0, which allowed me to overclock my G3258. Now that I have a Xeon E3-1231v3, I was wondering if it is possible to get it to always run at its max turbo speed (3.8 GHz). I know this feature of being able to bump up to the highest turbo clock is available on Z97 and H97 boards and I have seen it on B85 also. I was wondering if there is some way to do it on this H81 board, and if so, which BIOS to use. If I set the multiplier from 34 to 38 it has no effect, and if I set the turbo multipliers to 38 in the BIOS it doesn't do anything either. It's not a huge deal since the chip stays cool enough that it's never below the 3.6 GHz all cores turbo for me. Just wondering if there is a way to make it run 3.8 GHz all the time on this motherboard though.
