having tried to find better info on how to set up the bios for my new motherboard I still find nothing. may be I am looking in the wrong place, can anyone help?

A lot depends on what you are using with it or for. Failsafe defaults is a good place to start.

You really shouldn't mess with the bios unless do are doing some overclocking. The only things you really want to set is date, time, memory and settings for what drives you are running.

Plus what OS you are running too. That is if you are running windows 8. On the new bios you want make sure you are running in UEFI mode.
