Z97X-UD7 TH Post Code help
« on: April 04, 2015, 09:33:27 pm »
Hey guys, just got a new Gigabyte Z97X UD7 TH motherboard.  I got everything built OK, but I noticed when I boot up, the post code LED says '6E'.  With previous motherboards I've owned, it typically says 'FF' or 'A0' instead on normal boot so this seems kind of odd.

That said, it seems to be booting Windows normally so it's probably not a big deal. But I just want to see if this is normal behavior or not just in case something is not right. :)

The codes should be in the back of your book "6B~6F Reserved". All I can say try and reset the bios. Only set the stuff you need to boot the computer. Plus don't forget to check time & date after you reset it. You might have something turn on that it is looking for.
