Hi guys,
I just changed Motherboard and CPU to a GA-97X-Gaming 5 with a i5 4690k. GPU is R9 290.
Suddenly I hear buzzing sounds in my headphones which sounds like EMI... but only while gaming. I tried moving the headphones to the front audio panel, and behold, the buzzing was gone.
- It seems to be occurring only while the GPU is under load.
- Only occurs on the rear ports not the front panel
- Muting the microphone does nothing
- Changing the GPU slot did not help
- Did not occur on the old motherboard
- I don't have a sound card to test with.
- Isolating the sound cables from the other cables did not help
Any suggestions?
