How do you boot USB DVD on GA-Z97MX-GAMING5?

First of all, the BIOS sucks with all the useless gimmicks...
Second, it won't detect my USB DVDrom regardless of which USB port I plug it into... has anyone been able to get this to work...? Or I must use a USB stick?

Where have you look in the bios for the drive. When is a USB DVD-rom might not show in your boot option if Partial Initial is set.

USB Support
Disabled - All USB devices are disabled before the OS boot process completes.
Full Initial - All USB devices are functional in the operating system and during the POST.
Partial Initial - Part of the USB devices are disabled before the OS boot process completes. (Default)
This item is configurable only when Fast Boot is set to Enabled. This item is disabled when Fast Boot is
set to Ultra Fast.
