SATA2_4 Samsung 1.5TB (Virtual D: to I: drives)
SATA2_5 LG CD/DVD
Problem:-
This is a 4 year old system that has always been in SATA IDE mode.
I have now spent over 3 days (almost nonstop per day) trying to change the SATA mode from IDE to AHCI.
I have almost come to the conclusion that it is impossible with this motherboard. (A design flaw?)
So my initial question is CAN THIS BE ACHIEVED with this motherboard?
I have looked on the web and can find no evidence that it has been done.
If somebody with a similar setup could let me know it is possible, that would encourage me to keep trying.
