Gigabyte ga-890fxa-UD5 v 2,1 , newest BIOS, Phenom II x 96BE @4 GHz. Windows 8.1/10TP. x64.
SSD Kingston V300, 120GB + SPCC (silicon Power) Velox 70.
MB replaced older Gigabyte ga-870a-ud3_v.2.1_f5 and now both SSDs run at 30% (R/w speeds) and 15% (4K) less than on older MB. SATA3, AHCI mode, Trim etc. all set properly. Freshly installed both windows but no drivers for AHCI help at all. Started with MS stock MS drivers, run drivers from GA and several AMD versions and still speeds are way under par.
Any ideas, it's noticeable, the difference in speeds that is.
