Gigabyte GA-x99-Gaming 5,2.1 speakers plugged where?
« on: August 03, 2015, 10:10:22 am »
Hi!I have a Gigabyte GA-x99-gaming 5 motherboard and I would like to know where to plug my old Creative Inspire A200 2.1 speakers. They have a standard 3.5 mm plug as far as I know.At the moment I am using the "Line Out" port but was wondering if I should use the "Headphone/Speaker Out Jack" instead, because it says in the manual that this port "supports audio amplifying function".Or maybe I should be using another port.I'm a noob and I don't wanna break anything. What port should my speakers be using to get the best sound possible?Thank you.

Look on page 114 Configuring Audio Input and Output. The plug on your speakers is green. On the picture you will see where the green plug goes in.
