Hey All,
Just in case rest of the specs:
No OC, Bios reset to fac. defaults.
Win10 Pro
i5 3570K
16Gb Ram
R9 280X
I recently purchased DAC / Audio interface for recoring (which is basically an external high quality, USB sound card).
Its called PreSonus AudioBox 22VSL; It is powerd by USB and always has blue Led on when its plugged in.
When I leave the USB card plugged in and restart the PC everything is fine, but when i Shut the PC off and turn it back on - monitor never comes on and just blinks, and slight clicking noise is coming and fans are spinning... from PSU it looks like, definately not HD.
As soon as I un-plug the sound interface - PC boots right away.
I had done quite some research on similar issues, and even found one dude having exact same issue but no solution.
I tried disabling power to USB after power off in Bios, tried disabling legacy USB support, made sure boot priority doesnt have anything about USB interface mentioned, tried fast and ultra fast boot.. after whitch i had to clear cmos, since my USB keyboard gave up turning on b4 windows : (
Even though USB card is no longer powered after PC is off, when i turn the PC back on - with it in, it will start making clicking sounds, no image on monitor, sounds like some weird power issue to me.
I remeber this happening with external HD once or twice before, but i need to keep this card in at all times...
Maybe try newes 15K bios?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks.
