Gigabyte X99m Gaming 5 not starting, error 6F
Mikeyro:
Ok, I've solved it. For anyone that still encounters this problem, it's the RAM, I've bought a new 4gb DDR4 2133MHz RAM module, flashed BIOS to the latest version (4b) and after that it booted with 16gb(2x8) DDR4 2666MHz RAM.

I had the same issue with Kingston HyperX Fury RAM, because DDR4 maxes out at 2133 MHz frequency stock-spec (all of the manufacturer specs past that are stock overclocks) they won't always be stable or POST at their stock speeds, you have to play around, which sucks because it won't give you a BIOS if this is the problem. When I had this error, I had four 8gb Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4-2666 modules installed, I installed one stick of DDR4-2133 into DDR_4_3_1B, from there I was able to use the UEFI to force the settings to use 2400MHz and it worked fine after I reinstalled the DDR4-2666 (running at 2400mhz vice 2666mhz). Still playing with it to see how far it can go, but apparently stock overclocked memory modules are unreliable on this board (I don't think this is Gigabyte's problem).
