GA-Z68XP-UD5 slow USB3 in Windows 10

My old GA-Z68XP UD5 works very well with Windows 10 x64 but USB3 ports are very slow (no more than 25 mb/s of speed!).
The Renesas USB3.0 eXtensible Host controller - 0.96 (Microsoft) it's clearly visible on device manager,so it's correctly
installed.
I remember,months ago,with windows 8.1 x64 all was working at full speed with driver downloaded from Gigabyte,but now,seems no more compatible with windows 10 x64,or seems that Windows replace the driver with his own,that works at low speed.
Any clue?

Are you testing with identical hardware?  Same, device, cable, etc.

I just upgraded one of my Z68 systems to windows 10, but haven't checked USB 3.0 performance specifically.

Have you tried DriveCleanup.exe  (http://www.uwe-sieber.de/drivetools_e.html)
and
usboblivion32.exe (http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=2287)
Worked wonders for me when all usb-ports were running at 1.1 speed.

I don't know what to tell you on this. Here is link to another guy that was have a problem with a Z68 board. He didn't fix it either.

I have a Ga-P55A-UD4P with windows 10 and I just did a test on it. I transferred a 600 mb file from my USB 3.0 drive and it did it less then 5 sec. What bios are you running?

Did you update the Chipset drivers and try running the driver for that device. There two drivers for that
board.

Did you update the Chipset drivers and try running the driver for that device. There two drivers for that
board.

My board have a z68 so it's completely different than yours!Further,it's better to measure the performance in mb/s not in seconds,for a valid reference.
I'll give a try to the driver you've linked,asap.

Of course!I've also try the same devices (2 usb3 hard disks) with other PCs and they overtake 25 mb/s on that machines.

You most have been using the windows 7 driver because there is no USB 3 driver for windows 8 or 8.1.

So what you are saying that i just transferred 600 mb at about 120 mb a sec and that isn't a good test. Plus I'm using the same driver that you are using windows driver. "eXtensible Host controller - 0.96 (Microsoft)"

Plus the USB device on my board and the one on your board are the same. I took another USB 3.0 drive and move a file 2gb from that drive to the computer. It did it in about 20 sec that is about 100 mb a sec right.

Man,sorry but i must inform you that the link you provided it's from a scam site (or at least not thrust).They are really suspicious .exe files,be aware of what you download and install.

I downloaded the driver I didn't get anything on the computer. I have been with computers from the early 80's. You can get any thing from any site at any time. Most of the benchmark or Utility program you download about 90% of the time there are other programs attach to them.   

That is why in over 10 yrs I don't use those programs. I don't even use the Utility programs from Gigabyte. If the computer boots goes into windows not having any crashes or BSOD. I don't worry about the little stuff that everybody else does that drives you nuts.

You didn't have the problem with 8.1 and you maybe didn't have the problem with win 7 either. I'm sorry that you having a problem. But you do with windows 10. If you didn't have the problem before 10 it is more likely a windows 10 problem not the board.
