Because once a company gets to a point on a board they don't really support it any more. Didn't windows 8 load most or all the drivers? I have a friend that runs one of those boards and has run 8 from the beginning. Now runs 10 too on it with no problems.
You having problems or just want to update the drivers you have now. I would leave it a lone as long as you are not having problems. Like I said on another post that drivers & bios updates are for people that are having problems. I'm sorry that you can't find drivers but at what point do they stop updating them.
