Memory issue?

Memory issue?
« on: November 10, 2015, 11:15:52 pm »
Hi all, just built a new system based on the Gigabyte X99 P5 board.
Everything works fine with 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance 2666 sticks but when I put 2 more  4GB sticks (same make) in I get stuck in a boot loop and can't get into windows....any ideas. I updated to the latest BIOS. I'm putting the RAM sticks in slots 1-3-5-7 as indicated in the MB manual.

You running them at the default setting 2133 or trying to run them at 2666? You OC your CPU a little so they will at 2666 or you trying to run them with the XMP Profile. You might to set them at 2666 that is speed & timing without the XMP.
