GA-H81N dead analog audio out

GA-H81N dead analog audio out

Hi all - I have a GA-H81N mini-ITX motherboard and had it hooked up to an external amp via the analog line-out (mini jack). Everything was running fine when suddenly, my audio just stopped working. Windows says nothing is plugged in the audio line-out jack. Thought it was a driver issue, so I uninstalled/reinstalled and nothing -- I even reinstalled Windows 10 x64 from scratch and nothing.

I replaced the motherboard with another brand new one and the audio worked -- for 10 minutes! Then it died too. ACK!

I can hook my iPhone and MacBook to the external amp via the mini jack and it works fine -- same cable and everything. But the GA-H81N does not see the amp and speakers.

Is it possible that the amp is blowing the audio jack on the motherboard? I don't have a headline jack connected to the front panel audio header, but that's my next step to see if it's really the DAC (all audio) or just the jack on the back. Is there a fuse or something that can be reset?

Help?!?!

Thanks!
