I've enjoyed using this system since December 2015 and have been playing Elite Dangerous on it OK until last week when it crashes on exit to desktop and the whole windows screen freezes. Win7 won't reboot at all without attempting to repair which it fails at every time. Figured it must've been a corrupt system file so I decided to clean reinstall win7. Suddenly the R9 GPU drivers once installed cause the same boot up issue after the install. I try the latest ones from AMD resulting with the same problem. I even try the win10 upgrade and it's now not booting up at all!
Help! I've run out of ideas, starting to think the R9 GPU is physically damaged in some way.... Anyone had a similar problem? Can GIGABYTE take it back to look at it under warranty?
