I'm going to add that I have been doing this for 30 yrs. You have a board from some body else. In those 30 yrs I have never got a board with a bios that is up to date. Yes it could happen that the board is up to date but that is a chance in about 1%.

Sorry to tell you this but you got some body else problem. That is why I ask you how long you had the board.

I don't have someone elses board. I bought this brand new. Obviously I must be the 1 percent then. One things for sure. I won't be buying Gigabyte X99 boards anymore..Will be researching a reliable workstation board with less headaches. For now at least, I've found a work around of sorts.
