Hello,
I have a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R (rev1) for many years with an Intel Core I7 920 and an Asus GeForce GTS 250.
I recently decided to replace the video card by a new one because its fan started to have some issues. So I bought a cheap Gainward GeForce GT 730 which didn't require to be connected to the PSU (the GTS 250 needed it).
Unfortunately, with the GT 730, my PSU fan turns at full speed all the time (with an incredible noise).
If I remove the GT 730 and replace it with my old GTS 250, everything return to normal.
Did someone else already have this kind of trouble ?
Moreover:
- my PSU has a cable for its fan so I also tried to unplug/plug it to the PWR_FAN connector of the motherboard without any change.
- I was never able to make my case fans working by plugging them of the SYS_FAN connectors. Is it normal ?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
