Hi everyone,
I built my PC almost 1 year ago. Here is the specs:
- main Z97X UD5H BK REV 1.1
- cpu I5 4690K
- ram Muskhin 4x4G bus 2400
- vga R9 280X rev 2.0
- ssd Samsung EVO 850 250G
- psu FSP Aurum CM 750w
Two weeks ago, after Windows updated something, my PC could not boot anymore. The error debug code 15, means "the pre-memory North Bridge initialization is started". After few seconds, it automatically turned off, turned on and continued booting again, repeatedly.
I replaced R9 280X by an older card 7870 and it was still the same.
Then I tried with serveral cards and this is the status:
- HD 5670: worked
- HD 7950: worked
- GTX 970: worked
- Intel processor graphic: worked
I also tested with another 600w PSU and the result was the same with my current psu FSP Aurum 750w.
One more information that the bios version is F8. This version I updated at the time I built my PC.
So, why suddently my mb cannot recognize R9 280X and HD 7870?
Many thanks,
Nam Nguyen
