update bios on ep41 ud3l from f4 to f5, getting checksum error = 6f00

as above really just trying to update bios to see if my ram will run, is this a corrupted download or normal?

no info on gigabyte site anyone out there no what this means

sounds like a bad flash..........try downloading the bios file again from the gigabyte site

and use Q-Flash and try flashing your bios again....May not work because you already have a dodgy bios, but give it a shot..

i found something somewhere which seems to mean this is ok so i went on ahead and did it, everything seems ok but then i still cant boot into windows anyway, im running corsair twin 2x2048-6400g or xms2's which ever way you read it!

still no post to winows, any ideas?  all i can see is that on the qvl list it seems to like the same ram but with c4 on the end, can i tweek the timings to make it work, or is this cos of a bad flash that i cant run the memory, it never worked before the flsah but who knows!
