Hi,
I have a new build PC using a GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 motherboard with a Gigabyte G1 GTX 1070 graphics card.
I've tried turning on the PC as a testing measure when building it and it all seems to work fine, the graphics card and motherboard light up and the fans inside the PC start turning and this is with the graphics card plugged into the PCI slot.
The problem occurs when I plug in the power to the graphics card. When this is plugged in, nothing lights up, no fans turn, like the PC is dead.
(Just for clarification i've added a picture of the power cable i'm talking about, i'm a bit of a noob at this sort of thing)
