GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 (rev 1.0) - boot problem

Hi, recently I have updated the BIOS F6 and when booting my pc it will boot up for around 2 seconds then turn off, repeats this about 3 times until it boots with the following message.

"boot failure detected" - system has experienced a boot failure possibly due to incorrect configuration. Previous settings in the BIOS may not be compatible. with current hardware state.

current cpu speed : 3300.90 MHz
current bclk : 99.97 MHz
current memory speed : 2132.00 MHz

once I continue with "load optimized defaults then boot it usually continues to windows no problem and works as normal. I've also noticed if i unplug my ram and plug it back in then reboot it also boots fine, however problem occurs every restart.

Memories are G.Skill Ripjaws v 3000 MHz

This is related to the type and speed of your memory.  If you haven't tried using XMP, please enable and see if this helps.  If it doesn't, then replace the RAM with 2133 Mhz RAM from the boards QVL for worry free performance. You are getting no performance increase using 3000Mhz speed RAM.

This occurs when active the XMP profile.

The system detects the 3000 MHz well , but when I turn it off and back on. It shows me that error.

Regarding to Ram speeds,  is not better 3000 MHz than 2133??

As you can see, anything above 2133 is only supported via an overclock.  In order for you to achieve faster clock speed, you must OC your CPU and memory.  If you want stability, running at stock speed is recommended.  If you want more, you'll need to tweak settings until you find the sweet spot for both the CPU and memory you are running together.

This may or may not be possible depending on the hardware you've selected.  So in this case, faster is not necessarily better.  You might be able to run this memory with the current CPU, but it's not going to do it right out of the box.    Some trial and error will be needed to determine if this hardware can run together.

Remain stable at 2666MHz without changing voltages. And from there, I guess it would also make some oc the cpu. For now, I leave as well.
