Where did you search and get the information stating you had to update the cards vBIOS?
Are you overclocking, memory, CPU or GPU?
What OS are you running?
What driver version are you using?
Have you tried any others?

I have a 560Ti running on a z77 platform, W10. I flashed its BIOS about 5 yrs ago but this was to remedy a fan speed control issue. It otherwise runs very stable.
@BIOS does not support NVidia based cards
