Lets focus on one issue at a time. The memory that you have might be on the QVL for your board, but will REQUIRE overclock to run above 2133MHz. Incorrect memory settings can cause other stability or performance issues.

Disk performance:
***Please perform this one test before moving forward. Disable Fast Start Up under power options in your OS. Restart and test disk performance.
If the system performs normally with another disk (good test), there are only a few more things to look at typically. While testing, I would only have the SSD connected during your troubleshooting. If you have any other external devices, they should be disconnected.
Try connecting to a different SATA port
Try swapping the SATA cable
Use manufacturers toolkit to update the FW - Make sure OCZ still supports the drive, some legacy products are now supported by Toshiba. The utility should give you greater insight on your specific product.
