Gigabyte z97 gaming black edition
Nvidia quadro cx 1.5 WDDM 1.1
Windows 10 WDDM 2.0

Ok was able to get things going but .
Running fine for about a year, august 2015 ( last year to be precise).
I believe the Win 10 WDDM 2.0 updated recently ( not Sure)
but..... one day got a error system during boot and hard shut down to restart.
came up no signal
finally got he system back after resetting the cmos jumper removing 1/2 my ram  and the gpu.
during the process which happened a doz times or so until I figured to pull the gpu the gpu would work however on power down reboot It would again push a no signal.

solution was ( bad gpu) pulled it running on the chip set ........

wrong.

thought it was win 10 so reinstalled win 7 but had the same issue.

this time I disabled the gpu once it set up after reinserting the gpu and boot.
cold boot everything worked fine chip set the problem gone.

figured there is a conflict between the 2 when both are enabled causing the no signal  because I can boot with either enabled so long as the other is disabled.

this was not an issue for the 1st year I had this system running.

is there a bios fix coming for this?
what could cause this to happen?

Switching the pci slots now to enable install initialization of the gpu.
turned off on board graphics.
I doubt updating to a bios i cant not roll back from will be of any solution.

??? Currently: Because i bought this as an open boxed item from new egg and it's past its manufacturing service date (2 or 3 years) for an RMA even though I just bough it 1 year ago....................

The on board audio at the rear jacks have shut down completely. Head phones work and maybe the optical rear jack don't have.
(the on board audio is the reason i bought the board) my old system had a $300.00 sound card but no windows 7 support for the OEM.
I did not need to get a sound card if the board had a chip set, on board was good enough.

My Video Card failed to initialize.

At this time since i do not wish to buy another motherboard I can not shut down my computer for a cold boot.
I must place it in sleep mode.
In order to have the video card stay initialized.
Or else I would have to remove my old sound card which has support for vista ( was an xp card) and doesn't work anyway like it used to as far as sound access to the cards original software application.
and reinstall the video card in the x8 slot.
reboot from a cold boot ( because the new hardware install initializes the video card)
shut down again because that cleared the x16 slot as well.
reinstall the video card in the x16 slot and reinstall my sound card.
so i remember now every night to place it in sleep mode not shut down.

Looking for a new motherboard.

Have you tested the video card on another system?
