I have the GA-7VA series 2 with XP SP3 and SKT A processor, Sempron 2500+, which I have been using to control some amateur radio hardware.
Works fine as stand alone pc but it appears tha IE 6 is no longer supported by some websites and I cannot install or even download alternative browsers as their websites won't open with IE 6 or they need SSE2 support.
The Sempron supports SSE but not SSE 2 which is required for Firefox and other web browsers.
Is there a socket A processor that supports SSE 2, or a web browser that doesn't need it?
Or is this motherboard finished as far as the internet is concerned?
