Bootup selects random usb devices

Bootup selects random usb devices
« on: November 17, 2016, 01:40:50 am »
I have a  Gigabyte GA-H61TN-00 socket 0 motherboard. I have set in the BIOS to boot into Windows to manage the hard drive as that is the only option that works. However if I leave a dongle, a phone, an external hard drive or any other USB device plugged in, the computer tries to boot from it...always!
It's so frustrating, how can I make it ignore USB devices and boot from the HDD?

Review page 44 of your manual.  Then compare to the boot order and BBS priorities in your BIOS.  Ensure your hard drive is listed as the first boot device and disable additional boot devices appear in the boot order.  F10 to save and exit.
