Hello Forum,
I need some help regarding high temperature readings please, I'm getting these reading on HWiNFO64.
The temperatures labeled "VR T1" and "VR T2" under the motherboard heading (GIGABYTE 970A-UD3P - IRF IR3564B) are very high.
When I am running a CPU stress test for 30 minutes on Prime95 these temperatures under "VR T1" and "VR T2" can reach 96 degrees Celsius, this seems very hot. I have read somewhere that these temperatures are for VRM/MOSFET. Is this correct?
My other temperatures are fine and my case airflow is good. My GPU temperature never goes above 66 Degrees Celsius under full load, and my CPU temperature never goes above 48 degrees Celsius under load.
Is the "VR T1/VR T2" designed to run this hot at nearly 100 Degrees Celsius?
My system..
CPU: AMD FX-8320 @ 4.2ghz OC @ 1.296 Vcore
Cooler CM Hyper 212 Evo
Motherboard: GA-970A-UD3P
Ram: HyperX Fury 1866mhz 8GB (4x2)
GPU: MSI GTX 970
Everything is on stock settings except for the OC'd CPU.
With the CPU on stock settings the VR T1 and VR T2 temperature goes up to 90 Degrees C under load, instead of the 96C when the CPU is on OC.
Please see the screenshot.
Any help much appreciated
Thanks
