Will the GA-Z170N-WIFI v1.0 officially support the i7 7700k?

Is there any idea when the stable bios supporting kaby lakes will become avaiable or if they will exist at all?

Board only states support for 6th gen...  One can only speculate.  Time will tell.  You could be pleasantly surprised, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Here is the thing, officially they announced that they do, in october, but in practice so far its shown to be a mess, and like you pointed out, on the motherboards webpage, the board is yet to be compatible.

But right now all i have is a beta bios and several testimonies with problems with these beta bioses, such as videocards that stopped being recognized or boot loops, with lots of people asking to use previous bioses.

Nothing? No news about a stable bios or for the board to officially support the cpu?

Gigabyte really needs better support on the forum and could also use some on their subreddit.

I hear what you are saying.  It's nice to be able to "extend" the useable life of a board for more than one gen of processor.  Its nice when you don't have the upgrade pressure for 18 months or more. 

Same goes for video.  These days a good GPU can really tap your bank account.  It used to be It might be helpful to open a ticket with support since we as end users only have press releases like the one you found to base hope on.

Its not nice, its required once theyve announced it, they are selling boards with an official statement saying all those 170 boards support the new generation of CPUS. They dont, not as is, and its been 3 months.
