Fast & Ultra-fast Boot Speed

When I set my board to fast or ultra-fast with the app there is no improvement whatsoever over my present boot speed of 9-10 seconds to desktop from the second Windows 7 begins loading. In actual fact, 2-3 secs. are added when I set the fast setting. I'm curious as to why this is if certain drivers are not loading. I removed the system information app as it was devouring 24 secs. during boot.

afaik it has 0 to do with what drivers are loaded and more to do with bypassing self checks during POST.

Very true, and all boards are different. Also heard that Z170 and Z270 chipsets and DDR4 ram higher then stock speeds
2133 MHz are having lots of trouble enabling Fast and ultra Fast Boot Speed.
