Will make this as short as possible. This is my sixth build, first with Intel in YEARS (couldn't be happier btw). 6700k so I had to order an aftermarket cooler, went with the 212 evo. Anyways noticed in my old case that my Z170 UD3 Ultra bowed in the middle, turned out my old case had seen better days and the mobo tray was warped. So bad that you could tell by looking in the back of the I/O shield.
So got a new case, everything seems perfect. Can still feel a slight bow at the top of the mobo, and by that I mean if I run my finger across the top I can feel where it tightens up then opens up again. I'd imagine this shouldn't effect anything in the long run, right?
A disclaimer here, no I did not tighten the crap out of the bracket and cooler, I have also tried re-installing it. No interest in an AIO cooler, idling at 21c and when gaming at 50% load I see about 38 to 40c, yes I live in an igloo.
